Georgia Livieri is a Digital Health Ethicist and currently serves as an Ethics Compliance Specialist, fostering collaborations with IoT companies, organisations, and universities across Europe. In her role as Ethics Manager, she is responsible for ensuring adherence to ethical standards in EU projects.
She chairs the Executive Committee of the Cyprus Bioethics Unit, which is under the International Chair in Bioethics, based in Haifa, Israel. Ms. Livieri is also pursuing a PhD in Bioethics and Public Health Policy at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Cyprus University of Technology, focusing on digital health ethics.
Her research explores the role of bioethics within the digital healthcare ecosystem, aiming to create a model for ethically aligned technology adoption under human rights principles. Additionally, she is a Research Associate at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Genetics Research Lab (CUT) and the Applied Philosophy Research Lab (NKUA). As an Ethics Educator and Facilitator, she collaborates with universities and IoT companies across Europe to organize interdisciplinary training seminars for researchers.
